As I ( Mohammad tariq siddiqui ) write this today, I am extremely sadden that I don’t hear our voices; I don’t hear the Muslim world screaming with outrage about the kidnapping, rape and human trafficking of teenage girls in the name of Allah.

No one should be permitted to use the holy name of Allah to justify such atrocities against children. And we the people of Islam should be heard louder than any other people. This is our issue; and we must stand in defense against the desecration of Islam no matter where and how it occurs or even who commits such heinous acts.

We live in a world where we are judged by what we do and what we don’t do. Often the failure to act, to even speak against theses abominations against Allah, translates to “we don’t care.” I know that we care. I know that we know this act is not a reflection of the Islam. However, the silence from the world’s Muslims is deafening.

We and we alone carry the responsibility to protect the name of Allah and our great faith of Islam. Our outcry against this monster that has ripped these teenage girls from their school in Nigeria should be heard around the world. We cannot have the peace and prosperity if we allow it to be stolen from another.

Remember the atrocities in this world are the measure of the people who could have stopped or helped. Allah is listening too!
